One can dream with so little, isn't it?

Simple haltings when passing by: the illumination of the glass of milk in Hitchcock's classic thriller, the courage to go out of focus remembering Caravaggio's courage to go out of ripeness and vitality in his basket of fruit, also at the edge of a shelf; the sudden reflecting scratches in the lacquered wood, are to the field of severe textural and tonal perfection what the shadow is to the impartial light, proof of the image itself. I would have loved to have heard the exhalation of that shutter.

Pet,
You are right and one can settle for less. Hum but not less water...

Carter,
The image is progressively covered with another texture. That of Hitchcock's, Caravaggio's and perhaps a touch of the author of "in Praise of Shadows" and it seems that the image takes quite a cachet that I did not suspect ... But thanks to you, dear reader of photographs.
The sweet melody of the outbreak of the Rolleiflex with it 1/60 sec ...
I was rather in a hurry to see the result on the contact sheet, you know what I mean (little dance steps) ...

Catherine,

) Il me faudra y remédier.
