This strikingly beautiful work recalls a view I think you created in Japan or elsewhere in the East, of a flooded field; but here a sense of flow gives dynamism to poignancy, and here I think you have captured the reception of the view, the thought of it, in the frame. I wish we could bring this gift of response into everything.
